Discussion list CONCHR-L@TEMPLEVM
This list is a discussion list set-up mainly to discuss politics from
a Conservative (born-again) Christian point of view. This list is not
for everyone. There are questions that must be answered in order to
be a member of this list. This is a precaution and a consideration to
everyone.
Please be aware of the fact that there is no such thing as a perfect
discussion list. You may or may not like this list. But that depends
on your taste.
IF THERE IS SOMEONE ON CONCHR-L WHO KNOWS YOU AND CAN VOUCH FOR YOU,
PLEASE HAVE THEM CONTACT ME AND DO NOT ANSWER THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS.
Unless, of course, you want to answer them. If you were a former
member of this list please contact me first before you answer any
questions. If you were not a previous member and there is no one on
conchr-l who can vouch for you, please answer the following questions.

************************** CONCHR-L LIST GUIDELINES
1. This list was created specifically to discuss the Conservative
Christian point of view and life. This means that discussions
concerning the issues that affect our daily life can be
discussed, whether political or religions in nature. This could
be taxes, fraud in government, policy, etc. Discussions may be
on cause and effect and how it may affect us as Christians, what
we may do about it, etc. We also discuss quite a bit about issues
that we consider contrary to the Christian way of life and those
things that may affect our liberties such as the Gay Rights
Movement, ACLU, persecution of Christian's in the schools, public
arena, etc. Do not misinterpret this as "GAY BASHING" because it
is not. Remember we all have "FREE SPEECH" rights.
2. This is not a list for a liberal to fight with a conservative.
The list was created for conservatives and as such it is assumed
that everyone is conservative (or at least part conservative)
this, includes politics as well as in their Christianity.
3. Discussions on Rush Limbaugh and the 700 Club are welcomed. In
general there is a lot that we agree on with the programs and we
consider them to have a lot of sound advise to offer.
4. Any disagreements that leads to name-calling among the members on
the list result on being removed from the list.
5. Any disagreements that leads to name-calling among the members
and are done privately should be kept private. Please do not
inform the owners of anything that is done privately. List
owners do not have the power to do anything about that that.
6. Prayer requests are definitely welcomed.
7. Most of these are guidelines. This list is for us to talk about
anything we want around these areas. Above all, be kind, be
Christian. FLAMES WILL NOT BE TOLERATED!
8. We like to encourage family on the list. Please take the time,
if you would and introduce yourself to the list. A little
paragraph
or two on who you are, what you do, and why Jesus is so important
to you would be greatly appreciated and the list will welcome you
whole- heartedly... Thanks."

P.S. We realize it is impossible to please everybody no matter how we
try. Some may not like this list, but that is okay, too. There are
other lists...
